As a self-taught photographer, Ray began over 35 years ago as a child with his Polaroid camera, capturing anything he could on film. Being no stranger to the art world, he has also been a professional guitar player and songwriter. With photography being his absolute PASSION, he has had multiple portrait, boudoir, and landscape photos published in various magazines, and is becoming one of the premiere photographers in the NWI area.

Mandi began as a model/muse for Ray Jaymes Photography and her creative talents were immediately noticed and was added to the team! Her creative background includes professional singer/songwriter/musician, artist, and tattoo artist.

With nine years of experience in front of the lens, and with the journey with Ray Jaymes Photography she began as a dedicated model. Her passion for "creating art in many forms" defines her work, blending a decade of modeling expertise with a hands-on approach to production. Why I Shoot Nudes
For two very simple reasons.
#1, for the art. There is nothing more beautiful than the female form. It is the most pure and natural art form and has been the subject of artists for centuries, literally since cave paintings.
#2, to build confidence and self esteem. Any woman can feel good about themselves in a favorite outfit they purchased, but nude? That takes skill. Because the one thing I've learned in the years I've been shooting female nudes is that EVERYONE has an issue with their nude form and I think that is literally horrific! I do my best to show them how absolutely beatiful they are. I do NOT do it to "see naked women". I do NOT in ANY way do it for sexual gratification for myself or anyone else. Nude art is pure, it is natural, and it is beautiful. People really need to understand this and stop labeling this beautiful style of art as "dirty" or "naughty" or "shameful" or "lustful". There is no shame at all in the human form that God created.
